Northern Virginia I.O.T.A.S. Foundation

Northern Virginia Impacting Others Through Actions & Service Foundation (also known as Northern VA I.O.T.A.S Foundation) was established in 2021 as a 501(c) (3) “non-profit” organization by the Beta Alpha Omega Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Incorporated.  The organization is a public charity program aligned to support underserved communities in the Northern VA region. Our Mission is to improve the physical, economic, and communal well-being of communities in the Northern VA region. The Northern VA I.O.T.A.S. Foundation was created to develop programs to help improve the lives of youth and families. 

 

Our objectives for which the foundation was established is:

 

1. To promote scholarship, leadership, fidelity, citizenship, and brotherhood through social service initiatives, community services, and charitable donations.

2. To coordinate, sponsor and/or facilitate social service and community programs and events that promotes the purpose(s) of the foundation.

3. To raise funds to support all programs, events and activities that promote our mission/purpose(s) through obtaining donations, grants, service fees and other fundraising activities.

4. To develop partnerships and collaborations with other organizations that promotes our foundation's mission/purpose(s).

5. To support the service programs of the Beta Alpha Omega Alumni Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated.
    

Since we are a tax-exempt non-profit organization as described under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, all donations made to Northern VA I.O.T.A.S. Foundation are tax deductible!
